A Congo gorilla encounter is the ultimate wildlife experience

Uganda’s Impenetrable Forest, Virunga Mountains in the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, Congo’s Odzala-Kokoua National Park and the remote Moukalaba-Doudou and Loango National Park are the best destinations for a gorilla encounter. This amazing wildlife experience exposes the gorillas’ true family life, experienced trackers will locate the gorillas (generally from knowing where they spent the previous night) and once found, viewing time is restricted to one hour.

Being in a remote “gorilla encounter” destination doesn’t necessarily mean compromising on accommodation, many of the lodges and camps offer 5* luxury – just what you need after spending hard day gorilla tracking!
