What is the position on malaria?

Malaria is endemic in the Zambezi Valley. Chloroquine resistance is prevalent. The worst time for malaria is from mid-February to about May. Despite the scare stories - malaria can be avoided. Sensible precautions are necessary:
We live here, we're not immune, we take good care and don't contract malaria!
