The safari takes place in and around the Okavango Delta combining the Southern Delta with the central delta to experience the delightful changes between the two areas. Then its off to the Northern Delta before heading towards the Linyanti region of Northern Botswana on the Kwando Concession.

Having thoroughly explored the Okavango Delta its time to experience the huge elephant herds of the Chobe National Park before ending in a luxury lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River close to Victoria Falls on the Zambian side of the river.

What is the best time of year to go?

What is the best time of year to go?

This safari is available year round however the pricing on this trip applies to April and May 2009.

As with many African safari destinations the best time for big game viewing is during the drier, winter months (July, August, and September). For bird watchers, November to March is without doubt the best period.

The champagne months of May and June are delightful; just before the main rush of tourists begins, with clear skies and lingering green bush, and fat, well-fed animals at the end of the rainy season.
