• Tamarind Lodges - Low cost four and six bed stone and thatch chalets with fridges and cooking facilities, ten minutes from The Heights - book well in advance.

• Sunset Lodge - A quiet 4 bedroomed lodge, accommodating ten guests with full kitchen facilities ten minutes from the Heights on Camp Hill - book in advance.

• Mopani Bay - Unfenced, budget camp sites. Always full in season, 900m from Tamarind Lodges.

• MOTH Camp - Chalets and camp sites, five minutes from the border, a short walk from the Mahombekombe township, always full in season.

• Kuburi HQ - A very basic campsite managed by the Kariba Branch of the Wildlife Society, usually rich in game - hardly ever crowded, half an hour's drive from The Heights.  Definitely the best bet for the camping enthusiast!!

• Nyanyana Camp - Similar to Kuburi HQ managed by National Parks, 10 km away and further from town.

• Nzou Lodges and Wild Heritage - A large complex of privately owned chalets and cottages bordering the Charara Safari Area, 40 minutes from The Heights.

• Kushinga - campsite and lodges on Camp Hill, overlooking the Eastern Basin.
