A ”grand adventure” in Kenya
Thank you for the welcome back!! The trip was fantastic, a grand adventure. Having Rekero to ourselves was just amazing, it felt like being in the 1920s!! We saw a lovely leopard walking along the river bank there, which was a real treat. Chui was just wonderfully decadent, whilst a bush breakfast looking at Kilimanjaro on our last safari morning just rounded the whole thing off perfectly. We have 2000 pictures and 8 hours of movie to sort out. Thank you so much for organising it all so perfectly.
Have you been to this place www.kitengela-glass.co? I don’t mean the shops in town, but the studio in the outskirts of Nairobi (Kenya). We had a great demo of glass blowing, and then discovered the mosaic and glass painting area. it is all wonderfully eccentric, and we ended up in an aviary with a pet vulture and some cranes.
Best wishes, and many thanks,
