How much will a safari cost?

The following listing is indicative:
  • Our "Traditional Tented Safaris" in Matusadona and Mana Pools will cost US$185 per person per night - we recommend a minimum 3 night stay. The return boat or vehicle transfer is US$70.
  • Musango Safari Camp which offers a Lodge, Tented camp and Canoe Trail will cost US$265 per person per night plus US$140 for the return floatplane transfer.
  • The canoe safaris vary quite a bit depending upon the river stretch and operator selected. Typically a 4 day Chirundu - Mana Pools trip will cost US$660 with Shearwater. On the Zambian side the trip costs US$395.
  • Luxury Lodges like Ruckomechi or Kipling's will cost around US$360 per person per night plus the transfer of US$100 per person.
  • The combination safaris offer the best of both worlds - walking in Matusadona and canoeing in Mana Pools - a typical 7 day trip will cost US$1140 per person.

From time to time we offer special discounts well in advance - we regularly run "late availability specials". Some of these are made available at a 30% discount.
