The River Club, Victoria Falls

When Livingstone drifted down the Zambezi on his way to discover the Victoria Falls in 1855, he passed by the place known as Atuleo Amanzi, "quiet waters". He would have gazed at the ageing trees that still stand on the banks of the sweeping bend of this regal river.

  • Since then, other pioneers have come and gone from this place where The River Club now stands, all of them contributing to its history.
  • The River Club's ten luxury chalets are set amongst lush riverine vegetation along a steep riverbank overlooking the Zambezi.
