When Livingstone drifted down the Zambezi on his way to discover the Victoria Falls in 1855, he passed by the place known as Atuleo Amanzi, "quiet waters". He would have gazed at the ageing trees that still stand on the banks of the sweeping bend of this regal river.

Location: Situated on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, overlooking the Zambezi National Park, 18 km upstream from the Victoria Falls. Transfers from Livingstone Airport included in the tariff, transfers from Victoria Falls Airport are extra. | |||||
