Delays at Victoria Falls border posts - 15 October 2012
Zimbabwe
Victoria Falls Airport
All the flights are full and all arrive within 45 minutes of each other, so delays can be expected. A meeting has been held with Customs and Immigration in order to try and ensure we speed up the process as best as we can, however delays will be experienced.
Victoria Falls/Livingstone Border
There are road works currently taking place between the two border posts which can from time to time result in traffic delays and large queues at the respective border posts.
Victoria Falls/Kazungula Border
The Border Post is small and at certain times of the day delays are experienced, especially for the Chobe Day Trip arrivals and departures.
Zambia
Livingstone Airport
All meet and greet facilities remain outside the terminal building. With flights arriving within +/- 45 minutes of each other there may be congestion inside the Arrivals Hall and also at the meeting area – please take the time to identify your guide.
Livingstone/Victoria Falls Border
As we are in low eater season, the Eastern Cataract has very little water flowing through, however the Main Falls are still an amazing sight.

Livingstone/Kazungula Ferry Border
The Border Post is small and at certain times of the day delays are experienced, especially for the Chobe Day Trip arrivals and departures, please note that clients are required to walk down to the small ferry/speedboat in order to cross the Zambezi river.
Botswana
Kazungula/Victoria Falls Border
All passports are now scanned into the Botswana Governments system, there is a brief delay in doing so. Please expect longer delays when there are longer queues especially for the Chobe Day Trip arrivals and departures.
Kazungula Ferry/Livingstone Border
This Border Post is small and at certain times of the day delays are experienced, especially for the Chobe Day Trip arrivals and departures, please note that clients are required to walk down to the small ferry/speedboat in order to cross the Zambezi river.
Clients are recommended to try complete border forms before arriving at the border(s) to try minimize delays.
