What is the best time of year to go?

What is the best time of year to go?

The climate of Madagascar is tropical, and this largely determines when you take your trip. From November to March is the summer, otherwise known as the wet season (hot with variable rain). The dry season is mainly dry and mild and falls between April and October.

February and March are cyclone season! April and May show the vegetation off at their best, just after rainy season but it is cold and animals are not very active. The bbest months are October/November when the lemurs have their babies, the weather is pleasant and the jacarandas are flowering. Whale viewing is best from June to December.
