Entebbe and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda - 4 days/3 nights.
Where is it?

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is in south western Uganda, on the border of Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda.
The area is volcanic and the dense tropical rain forests grow on steep slopes which can make mountain gorilla trekking hard going.
What is the best time of year to go?

June to August are the driest months, theoretically the easiest treks but expect soft rain at any time of the year. March to May is the short rain period, September to November the wettest, therefore the hardest treks.
The annual average temperature is 7-20 degrees Celsius with chilldy mornings and evenings but warm, humid days.
How to get there

This is a fly-in safari and private charters are arranged from Entebbe International Airport to the Bwindi airstrip.
