Kruger and Sabi Sands Private Reserves - 7 days/6 nights
Where is it?
Kapama Southern Camp is just 30 minutes from Hoedspruit (Eastgate Airport), and is ideal for 3 nights before moving on to Idube Game Reserve for 3 nights. Additional nights may be added if you have extra time to spare.
What is the best time of year to go?
There really isn't a bad time to visit South Africa as it is such a diverse country, you will find something to suit any month.
In general the best time on safari, is from June to September (dry season), which is also the southern hemisphere winter. Nights can be cold but days are mild, sunny with blue skies. Most South Africans holiday over the December period and hotels/lodges and camps book up very quickly during this period.
How to get there
The safari starts and ends at the Hoedspruit Airport. Your Zambezi consultant will arrange for your connections to this airport at an extra cost.
Johannesburg is just a short, daily flight away. At the end of your safari, you could add-on a few nights in Cape Town and Winelands by flying from the Kruger to Cape Town on the daily scheduled flights.
