Mount Kilimanjaro and the associated Kilimanjaro National Park are located in the northern regions of Tanzania, straddling the border with nearby Kenya. At 5,896m (19,336 feet), Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa.

The most popular climb is the "Marangu Route" or tourist route as it is known locally. It is usually the cheapest option with the best facilities but is more trampled than any of the other routes. Go to a list of Kilimanjaro Climbs for other route options.
