What is the best time of year to go?
May and June are champagne months, lovely clear skies, free of dust and smoke. The green season from November to April is when the young are born and there is plenty of food for the animals to eat making this the happiest period of the year in the wilds.
The driest months are from July to October when the animals congregate around the water holes and it's easiest to find and view them.
How to get there
The safari starts and finishes in Lusaka. British Airways, Kenya Airways and South African Airways all fly in to Lusaka International airport from London, Nairobi or Johannesburg.
Speak to your Zambezi consultant if you would like us to book your international flights.
