Horse riding safaris

If you're new to riding, or are accustomed to short 1hr rides choose our shorter riding activities which you can book at some of our lodges on arrival. Our half or one day horse trails at Victoria Falls are very popular.

For our longer 5 day to one week safaris, you'll need to be fit in the saddle and a fairly experienced rider. A typical day in the saddle on a specialist horse riding safari, can last for up to six hours, rising at dawn and fly-camping under the stars at night.

Zambezi's rides take place in Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Kenya.
