Botswana Chobe Okavango Delta

Your service is impeccable. Liz and team were quick to respond each time and beyond patient with all of my questions. I had a travel partner that was difficult to coordinate with, and they were great at managing getting all the information they needed from her too! I can't say thank you enough for setting up a trip of a lifetime for us and making the booking process a smooth and enjoyable one. Nina O.

Letaka team were super!

Hi Chris, Happy to give some feedback on behalf of Lucy and myself. We had a fantastic experience. Although it was the rainy season as Brits we were fine with a bit of wet and rain. I understood from Gee and KB that the rain is particularly heavy this year and we were unable to get to the planned campsite as the supply truck got into a deep flood. We did camp about 3 miles from the third bridge. The bird life was absolutely fantastic! We also saw lion, leopard, wild dogs, elephant, etc The Letaka team were great, Gee our guide was superb and found us the first lion and was a really skilled tracker. KB is also excellent.  The base crew did a great job and the camp and food were really good, particularly as the conditions were unusually tough. We would really like to return to Botswana and some of the other party went onto the Kalahari which would be great. The Letaka team were super and the delta is absolutely superb. Met our expectations and beyond ! Hope to be talking to you about our next trip. Best regards Rob

Christmas in Zimbabwe

My wife and I have just recently returned from a safari set up by your company. We absolutely loved every minute of it and was sad that it had to end. We would like to thank you all and in particular Chris Worden for giving us a holiday to always remember. Every detail was meticulously planned and catered for from beginning to end and every part of the journey went so smoothly. We met by reps at each leg of the trip and the staff at the camps Linkwasha and Musango were fantastic. The stay at Illala Lodge was out of this world and would go back tomorrow. We were a bit worried about the time of year concerning game viewing and heat but there was no need to worry as we saw fantastic wildlife and even a lion kill and we survived the heat of the Zambezi Valley by plenty of sundowners and a copious amount of drinks and good food. Even just driving through the bush and bird spotting was brilliant and the friendliness and knowledge of the guides was second to none. Thanks for the holiday Jim and Pat McGinness Thanks for the holiday Jim and Pat

A good trip to Zimbabwe

A good trip, well organised and without any problems (as always!!!). Spent 2 nights Ilala , 5 nights Bomani and 10 nights Musango Travel Flights all went well from start to finish really. No problems except that the homeward Kulula flight from JNB to CTN was 20 minutes behind schedule and we had to depart Bumi Hills over 2 hours early because of impending bad weather leaving a long wait in VFA, but these things happen and better to be gone than stuck at Musango. All the pre-arranged transport with the various tour companies went without a hitch. The Elephant Express was a worthwhile excursion and it was a novel way of getting to Bomani. Graham and I even got to drive the train!!!!!! Some game viewing en route and lunch at Dete before we set off. A recommended way to get down to Bomani/Camelthorn to save the long drive. Accommodation Outlook Lodge was, as usual, excellent and Francois looked after us like he always does. We had a nice meal there as well and transport to/from JNB Airport was all organised. No problems experienced. Carol and Graham picked up early morning off the Emirates flight. Ilala Lodge was far superior to Vic Falls Hotel. We had a lovely room facing the Falls. Service was excellent and so were the dinners and breakfasts. Centrally located for the town. Bomani Lodge was very comfortable. We had a very nice room (Spurwing Tent 3). Spacious, comfortable and clean. We were greeted by a Tiger Snake in the bathroom!!!!!!! Food was fine and varied although brunch only alternated daily between a breakfast and a light lunch. Staff always on hand to get us a drink of some shape or form. Sean was there to start with and Desme and Warren returned before we left. Musango Safari Camp was at it’s best as always. We had Room 7 with the plunge pool. Food was excellent and varied and always nicely presented. Staff there are always on top form for us, especially as we have been going there for many years. Nothing changes and it is what it is - a safari camp not a 5-star luxury hotel with Spa. Activities Sundowner Cruise from Ilala was very nice. We were looked after very well with drinks and snacks and the weather was lovely. Plenty to see including elephants at close-range. Travelled with some nice people too. Helicopter ride with Bonisair was a real treat for our daughter and husband and they enjoyed the views. They got an extra 5 minutes as the cloud was low initially and with so many choppers working the pilot returned for safety. Gorges Lodge was a view to behold for our daughter and son-in-law and we had a nice lunch there as well. Siduli Hide was pretty quiet but then sometimes these places are. Still they enjoyed the 2 hour sit and we did get to see some animals. Our guide at Bomani was Harris Mupedzi. He was very good and worked hard to find animals. 2 prides of Lions, Painted Dogs, Porcupines, Honey Badgers, Elephants and the usual Zebra, Buffalo and Wildebeest. Our highlight was to watch the birth of a Wildebeest. Even found a Dusky Lark (lifer) and an African Broadbill at the camp (out of area). Despite the rains we had good viewing of animals but no leopard. Musango was as good as ever and needs no further comments really!!!!!! Overall impression A good trip, well organised and without any problems (as always!!!). Carol and Graham were very impressed as it was their first time here. A good choice of centres to do and see what we thought they would like. Michael G.

Victoria Falls Zimbabwe and Hwange

We were impressed with all aspects of our safari. The Ilala lodge was lovely and also handy in terms of location to the Falls and town. The Davison camp was wonderful with excellent staff and met our expectations re wildlife, food etc. Flights there and back were perfect. Our sunset cruise was just what we needed on our first night with sightings of elephants and hippos. The day trip to Botswana was also excellent - again logistics were good and plenty of wildlife both on the river and on the ground. We loved it all. The only complaint ( outside of your control) was long delays getting in and out of Zimbabwe! Regards Cathy

South Luangwa Zambia

Hi Trish Thank you for the welcome home - we had another fabulous trip. It's hard to fault the Bushcamp Co as every aspect of your time spent with them is so well considered. The skills and quality of the senior guides and hosts are outstanding; their knowledge makes the difference between a run of the mill game drive/bush walk to something that is exceptional. Camps were excellent and food outstanding. Just what you'd hoped your trip would be. Amy and her team were great - even when it came to tracking down my lost luggage (not the best thing courtesy of Emirates in Dubai) but I was reunited after 3 days and that made ALL the difference. Thanks again to you and the team there at Zambezi! Best wishes Rachel & Simon
