Look no further! Our experience with the Zambezi Safari and Travel Company was faultless: We were particularly impressed with their detailed knowledge of the country and their attention to detail in arranging the practical aspects of our trip and felt that they provided a very personalised service. Our experience on the ground was outstanding and our expectations were exceeded at every turn ensuring it as a truly memorable trip. DebbieDebbie B
Our trip was amazing!! Hi Liz, We absolutely loved it! Mana was beautiful but I think our highlight was definitely the riding safari with Wait a Little. The staff there were unbelievable. They made you feel like family and they really went out of the way to make things perfect. They added all sorts of little touches to make it extra special. Eveything organized at your end was perfect as well. All the transfers ran perfectly smoothly. After seeing our photos I'm sure we will have plenty of family and friends wanting to visit so I'll send them your way. Thank you Alicia & MalcolmAlicia Knudsen
Hi Liz, We just arrived home today, You are by the best travel agent I have ever worked with! Your knowledge, service and speed to rectify any issues we encountered was second to none. The only down side for us was being Australian the currency options made it a bit more expensive for us but it was worth it. RosieRosie Currell-Paynting
Hi Trish and Ang' I want to let you know that we have completed this tour and returned home. It was a fantastic experience and everything worked very smoothly. The camps were great (Linyanti was not as luxurious as the others) and we were lucky to see major wildlife. Thanks for your help in making the arrangements. Hopefully, we will have an opportunity to do another trip sometime in the future. Ram.Lucille and Ram Nevatia
Thank you so much for organising such an amazing trip for us Our Aussie friends loved every single second of it and couldn’t believe that each day seemed to get better and better. One of our highlights though was when we landed at Ruckomechi there were 3 lionesses and a cub across from the runway… I spotted them but Sean didn’t believe me until our guide told us to get into the vehicle!! As soon as the second plane arrived with the rest of our group we then followed them as they were hunting a warthog. Amazing start! Seeing Boswell standing up to reach the branches was fantastic. We had a fun afternoon tiger fishing where the ladies caught 3 great tiger fish! Cheetahs in Hwange were a highlight too (Tim has an amazing photo and I did suggest he send it to you), and amazing sundowners on our last night organised by the Luke and the team at Little Mokololo. Our guides at both Ruckomechi and Little Mak - Englebert, Mike and Dixon - were outstanding and so knowledgeable. Oh yes, did I mention the elephants - they were everywhere….walking in the camp at Ruckomechi, at the water hole at Little Mak camp and on every game drive. I can’t fault your service at all - everything ran like clockwork. We were even contacted on our houseboat and advised that our pick up from Marineland would be a bit earlier - very organised. JJ
Trish, I know you usually have communicated with my sister, Jane Weatherford, but I wanted to write and let you know how much I loved our Zambia trip that you planned. I can't think of one thing I would change, other than I wished I didn't have to leave. I thought the itinerary was well thought out and all of the trips went according to plan, with people there to meet us as promised. I hope we can work with you again in the future for our next trip. I will be sure to recommend Zambezi Safari and Travel Company to anyone who expresses an interest in a similar trip. Thanks again. Kathy SKathy S
Thank you for the welcome back!! The trip was fantastic, a grand adventure. Having Rekero to ourselves was just amazing, it felt like being in the 1920s!! We saw a lovely leopard walking along the river bank there, which was a real treat. Chui was just wonderfully decadent, whilst a bush breakfast looking at Kilimanjaro on our last safari morning just rounded the whole thing off perfectly. We have 2000 pictures and 8 hours of movie to sort out. Thank you so much for organising it all so perfectly. Have you been to this place www.kitengela-glass.co? I don't mean the shops in town, but the studio in the outskirts of Nairobi. We had a great demo of glass blowing, and then discovered the mosaic and glass painting area. it is all wonderfully eccentric, and we ended up in an aviary with a pet vulture and some cranes. Best wishes, and many thanks, Anthea Kenya -MarchAnthea D
Dear Ang, The trip went well, very well. Every thing was great, more, to be honest, the trip has gone better than I expected. If you want I can describe all the particulars of our trip but I am sure that you know well these sites these lodges and the guys working there; we left a feedback full of ten to prove that everything was beyond our hope. Considering the high level of the whole trip from your job until what we really found there the only thing that I can indicate as not sufficient has been the food at Elephant camp. Let me notice the kindness and the high professionalism at Imbabala camp from the owner Sue to her assistants; at Somalisa Camp (a jewel of elegance and luxury nestled in a spectacular area) we met Tsistsi and Mickel, but to forget the other from the cook to Yvonne should be unfair. They deserve a particular mention since we never met so kind and affective persons, and I guess we wont found in the future. After they knew just accidentally that we was just married and the trip could be considered our honey moon, the last day at the afternoon, they prepared an unforgettable surprise , waiting for us on a wooden platform close a small pond (plenty of elephants) to offer Champagne and other delicious food. So the vote is TEN and I thank you very much for your assistance and your job Best Paolo B.
Dear Trisia & Ang, I wanted to relate how wonderful our trip was to Ethiopia. It exceeding, my already high expectations having been to Africa 14 times previously!!!! Our guide Melchor was wonderful. He is a very bright, personable and attentive. The best we have ever had in our many experiences. And a nice human being, caring, considerate and loves what he does. He made our trip all the better. I would highly recommend him. What a wonderful country and people! Visual overload. Jack S.Jack S.
Everything worked out great! The places we stayed at were wonderful. We got to see everything we had hoped to. All of the connections and drivers were on time and we felt that the entire trip was perfectly planned. The amount of time in each stop was sufficient and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. The highlight was our stay at Thornybush. What a great place! We loved the game drives. When we got to Thornybush in the afternoon, we were immediately taken care of, lunch even though lunch was over, check-in and then an hour later there was tea and our first game drive. The people were professional and friendly. Our guide on our safari drive, Chris, was so knowledgeable. We felt completely safe and learned a great deal about animal behavior. The drives were peaceful and yet exciting. The only question I have is why we flew into Nespruit instead of the closer airport to Thornybush? Just curious, but it didn’t take away from the trip at all. Thank you for your time planning this trip. Linda R.Linda R
